Coming up in a few weeks, UDIS will have a new style of  celebration where children will take you on A Journey through the eyes of a Child. We do hope you will be able to attend. We shall share further details as the event becomes closer.

Things to Remember:

  • Library books are to be returned on Thursdays.
  • PE uniforms are to be worn on Mondays and Fridays.  
  • House Shirts are worn on Thursdays.
  • Please be sure your child has a water bottle and spare mask every day.

Well its week 4 already! Time is flying fast and soon it will be the end of term 3 and its on to the next year.

Cardboard Needed: We are still in need of cardboard for our "Journey through the eyes of a child" For our final student display each student will need a sheet, or even two sheets of cardboard, which we will be using to display their Journey. If you have a fair size box please bring it and drop it off with your student.

Y1 will be model building for the next UOI and we are in need of some materials. So if you have some cardboard (or anything that might be used to build a model landscape ie yarn, shiny paper, etc.) at home please send it in with your student.

Study Ladder Homework: Homework assignments have been posted  via www.studyladder.com. You can find a short video about doing the tasks at Study Ladder short Tutorial. This is a free website that offers tasks for student to complete. These tasks have been assigned by the teacher for each student and are subjects we have explored in the classroom.  The login and password have been glued into the inside cover of your student communication book. Please spend the time to set this up for your student to try.
UPDATE: After some discussion, with a parent about the studyladder
login being difficult, I have found a workaround.  

"Easy logins help younger students access to their account, who might otherwise struggle entering their username and password.

To use easy logins, add the link below to your students bookmarked websites or their computer desktop. Students can this use this link to access their account."The easy login link for this class ishttps://www.studyladder.com/myschool/288902/myclass/133905You should be able to just find the name of your student and then login with their password that is in the front of each student communication book.
