Things to Remember:

Library books are to be returned on Thursdays.
PE uniforms are to be worn on Mondays and Fridays.
House Shirts are worn on Thursdays.
Please be sure your child has a water bottle and spare mask every day.

As we head into term 3 and the home run it will become very busy very fast. Term 3 is very short and things come very fast.

Classroom pet: Fishy Fishy Thank you!

We have some new classroom pets that we got not too long ago, for our last Unit of Inquiry on Life cycles. They have had babies so we have a growing population. A BIG Thank you to Leela for taking them home for the Song Khran break.

Problems and Compliments:

We have a place called "Agenda" on the white board. If a student has a problem (with another student or something) during the day they must write it down on the board. At the end of the day we have a meeting and work as a group to solve the problem.

If a student does come home and talks about a problem please ask them "Did you put your name on the Agenda?" Creating students who solve problems (their own or others) takes time, effort and diligence. Our students need to be encouraged to think for themselves and solve their own problems.

New Stars in the Class:

Y1 has been using a "Super improver Wall" for some time now. Students receive stars when they improve on their class work, behaviour, participation etc. There are ten levels of stardom that the student can reach. After completing a level a certificate of achievement comes home.

Cardboard Needed: For our final student display each student will need a sheet, or even two sheets of cardboard, which we will be using to display their "Journey this Year". If you have a fair size box please bring it and drop it off with your student.
