School is closed on Thursday 7 October

We have received word that the authorities will cut power to the area from the Railway tracks up to the junction with Route 2021 from 9am to 5:30pm on Thursday which affects UDIS and a lot of the surrounding area. Unfortunately as many of our staff also live in this area we cannot conduct regular online lessons. As such, we have set this as a home learning day and will send work/activities to work on at home on this day. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and the unique circumstance we are under here.

เนื่องจากทางโรงเรียนได้รับแจ้งจากการไฟฟ้าส่วนภูมิภาคว่าจะมีการตัดไฟในพื้นที่ตั้งแต่รางรถไฟจนถึงทางแยกตัดกับถนน 2021 เวลา 9.00 - 17.30 น. ในวันพฤหัสบดีนี้ ซึ่งจะส่งผลกระทบต่อ UDIS และพื้นที่โดยรอบ และครูหลายท่านอาศัยอยู่ในพื้นที่นี้ จึงไม่สามารถจัดการเรียนออนไลน์ได้ ทางโรงเรียนจึงมีความจำเป็นต้องกำหนดให้เป็นวันเรียนรู้ที่บ้านและจะส่งงาน/กิจกรรมไปทำที่บ้านในวันดังกล่าว ขออภัยอย่างยิ่งในความไม่สะดวก

This week learners settled in to the routines in Y1 a bit more and are getting used to our schedule. We began our second Unit of Inquiry, Where we are in Place and Time.

ในสัปดาห์นี้เด็กๆได้เรียนรู้กิจวัตรประจำวันจนเข้าที่เข้าทางได้สักหน่อยแล้วและกำลังทำตัวให้คุ้นเคยกับตารางเรียน เราได้เริ่มเรียนรู้วิชา Unit of Inquiry ที่เราได้อยู่ในสถานที่และเวลา

Learners will inquire into:

What constitutes a home
How homes reflect local culture
Factors that determine where people live

เด็กๆจะได้ถามเกี่ยวกับ:

บ้านประกอบไปด้วยอะไรบ้าง
บ้านสะท้อนสังคมรอบข้างได้อย่างไร
ตัวแปรที่กำหนดสถานที่ที่คนอยู่อาศัย

Things to Remember:

PE uniforms on Monday and Friday

House Shirts on Thursday

Library Books returned on THURSDAY

(if your child does not return their books, they won't be able to check out new books)

Also, every Friday we will send home the Friday Folder. It will have all the work your child did for the week. Please return the folder on MONDAY!

และอีกอย่าง ทุกๆวันศุกร์เราจะส่ง Friday Folder ให้เด็กๆนำกลับบ้าน ในโฟล์เดอร์จะมีงานที่เด็กๆได้ทำในสัปดาห์นั้น และกรุณานำโฟล์เดอร์มาคืนในวันจันทร์
